Treatment for hip tendonitis typically involves the RICE method, which includes rest, ice, compression, and elevation. Additionally, a physical therapist may be consulted to provide stretching exercises to improve mobility.

What Is The Diagnostic Process For Identifying Hip Tendonitis?

  • During the physical examination, the doctor may check for tenderness and pain around the hip joint and may also assess the range of motion in the hip. Imaging tests, such as X-rays or an MRI, may be recommended to rule out other conditions and to confirm the diagnosis of hip tendonitis.
